What do you do on rainy winter days? What do you do on rainy winter days when you’re like me, hampered by an illness and more or less confined to staying at home or going out in a wheelchair? What do you do if there’s also a pandemic and lockdown restrictions? In my case the answer is …..
…. get out of the flat, avoid the crowds, and have some wheelchair adventures (with a little help from my creative blog master).
So here’s the result. First, over to Camden to honour Dame Maggie ….
…. then down to the south coast for some fresh air …. .
… and in the evening, a bit of sport …
… but the wheelchair was rather limiting so the next day I took my exercise bike on a little competitive ride …
… and then decided on a final trip a bit further away, where wheelchair and bike weren’t needed.
It’s been an exciting time!
That just so wonderful xxx
Brilliant pictures, Dave, and lively commentaries. How do you do it? Look forward to seeing you in the Tour of Britain!
All the best!
Nice to see you getting out and about…
I think you BOTH deserve a medal! Well done!
Certainly brightens my day sitting looking out at the snow falling in Yorkshire!
Absolutely brilliant, to be able to live your fantasies through the use of new technology is beyond my imagination. Thank you for sharing. Hope you can fulfil many more of dream experiences.
So you, sophisticated on the outside and mad as a hatter on the inside! Love it 😊.
This is such fun and so clever! A magnificent man in a flying machine comes to mind! I’m sure you’re making everyone chuckle. Many congratulations to you and to Tim x
Love this Dave! 🤪 X
Great idea! I’ve just reestablished links with old friends in South Sudan.
And Happy Chinese New Year!!!!
What a wonderful wacky set of photos! If you’ve got to use a wheelchair, you might as well pretend to have some fun with it.
Happy St Valentine’s Day!
