Smile …

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend, and for those who observe such things, Happy Easter.

Also, a confession.  The last blog entry … the expected honour … written on April 1st, please note.  Couldn’t resist it.  Sorry.

Hope it raised some smiles though …

  1. And this is me, DP, thanking especially those who Commented or emailed me so positively about the ‘honour’, and to whom I immediately confessed. All in good spirits!

  2. Brilliant, David! I was totally deceived – partly because it would of course have been so well-deserved. Anyway, Lord Peace of Marylebone you shall remain, to us!

  5. I was had, as well, Tony! I agree that a gong is well deserved but am glad you got the better of some of us, too, Dave! Am sure that Malc would have spotted it, straight away, and had a huge belly laugh! xx

  6. At the heart of a good April Fool’s prank is plausibility and given how we are ready to believe you are deserving of some recognition we were “fish in a barrel” for your jest.

  8. Wonderful! You do deserve an honour! I did not register the date but did wonder as I always understood that revealing it beforehand was virtually a hanging offence! And I thought you would observe protocol, but I am sure we would all say Arise Sir Dave!
