In many ways I should have started this…

In many ways I should have started this sometime last year because so much has happened since then to me, to you and to the world, and there have been so many thoughts and experiences that it would have been good to record at the time, for my own satisfaction if not for others’.  Catch-up time from now on, then.

There’s a backdrop – my declining health – but it won’t be at the forefront of this.  Any reference to it will be just to help others to understand what goes on for someone with motor neurone disease.  I’m an expert – the horse’s mouth.  Whether you have it or not – and I seriously hope you don’t and never will – or whether or not you know someone who has it, or because you might do in future, it could be interesting to hear from someone with first-hand experience.  But it won’t dominate.
